Editorial policy

Sources

• Facts about a clinic come from the Ministry of Health’s HealthTürkiye pages, the clinic’s own website, and Google or Trustpilot review figures. Each one links to the page it came from and carries the date it was read.
• Medical and safety information comes from public bodies and professional organisations: the NHS, GOV.UK, the Oral Health Foundation and manufacturers’ documents.
• Prices are those clinics publish themselves, copied as written. Precious Dental’s prices come from its own published list.
• We do not use anonymous forum posts, unsourced statistics or other ranking sites as sources for facts.

Writing

We write for UK readers, many of them over 50, in plain British English. We explain dental terms the first time they appear. We avoid promising results, and we do not describe any treatment as risk-free.

Medical review

Every guide and treatment page is reviewed by Dt. Hüseyin Yavuz Özbek, a dentist registered with the Turkish Dental Association (TDB no. 49105), before it is published and when it changes. The reviewer’s name and the date appear at the top of the page.

The publisher’s interest

Precious Dental publishes the site and is its top pick. That is disclosed at the top and bottom of every page and in full on the advertising disclosure. When a guide gives our own view as a clinic, it says so.

What we will not publish

• Invented reviews, patients, quotes, statistics or awards.
• Claims about another clinic that we cannot source.
• AI-generated images of teeth, mouths or treatment results. Illustrative images are labelled.
• Near-identical pages written only to rank for search terms.

Updates and corrections

Register data is re-checked at least every three months. Guides are reviewed when the sources they rely on change. Mistakes are corrected under our corrections policy.
